Learning to draw

This year our nature notebooks are really taking off. My eldest has taken great pains to add details to his drawings. Here is our state bird, the Western Meadowlark and one very satisfied boy. In hindsight, I should have used a bigger nature journal than the one I gave him. He needs more space to work with. I'm slowly learning but loving the process of learning.
